The Cross-Eyed Bear That You Gave to Me

I have iTunes running during the day, with over 8,000 songs on random. “You Oughtta Know” just came on – and as she’s singing “… the cross I bear that you gave me to”, I accidentally sang “… the cross-eyed bear that you gave to me” – and now I cant stop hearing that as the lyrics. Worse yet is the definition that the Urban Dictionary gives for “cross-eyed bear.”

*sigh*

I think I need more sleep.

    ME TOO! okay but really, I always thought it said “cross eyed bear..” Because this song came out when I was pretty young.. And since I was raised as a Jew, I didn’t know anything about bearing a cross, so I just figured that he gave her a wonky eyed stuffed animal. Embarrassing.
